Donations

Your giving helps our community and culture grow. Thank you!

Generosity is one of the most powerful ways that God uses to change us and through us to change the lives of others. As we become more generous we grow to reflect the generosity of a good God. Our giving is an act of worship, an acknowledgment that everything we have is from God, and a real way to live out our love for God and our neighbor.

Offering Diya

At each of our services, we have a time of offering. We pass a prayer thali where you have an opportunity to give.

Help us complete building of Shanti Mandir, a spiritual home for Hindus and a center for peace, harmony, and community in central Pennsylvania. We've made significant progress, but we need your support to finish this sacred project. Your donation, no matter the size, will help create a place of worship, cultural exchange, and spiritual growth for generations to come. Every contribution is tax-deductible!
Our Progress
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we've already:
- Purchased land in a central, accessible location
- Begun construction on the main temple structure
- Raised $700,000 towards our goal
Now, we need your help to raise the final $800,000 to complete this monumental project.
Our Story
In 2017, nine individuals came together with a dream: to establish a Hindu temple that would serve as a beacon of spirituality and peace in central Pennsylvania. Shanti Mandir is officially incorporated as a non-profit religious organization.
Our Vision
Shanti Mandir will be more than just a temple. It will be:
- A spiritual haven for worship and meditation
- A community center fostering unity and volunteerism
- A platform for cultural exchange and education
- A place to promote peace, harmony, and personal well-being
Why We Need Your Help
While we've made significant progress, completing a temple is a major undertaking. Your contributions will help us:
1. Finish construction of the main temple structure
2. Complete interior work and decorations
3. Create space for cultural and education programs
4. Establish facilities for community events
5. Develop gardens and outdoor spaces for reflection and meditation
Every donation, regardless of the amount, brings us closer to our goal, your contribution is valuable and appreciated. Please note that all donations are tax-deductible, and you'll receive a receipt for your contribution for tax purposes.
And your support doesn't have to stop with a donation. Here are other ways you can help:
- Share our campaign on social media
- Tell your friends and family about Shanti Mandir
- Organize a fundraising event in your community
- Volunteer your time and skills to the project
By spreading the word, you can amplify the impact of your support and help us reach our goal faster.
We commit to using all donations responsibly and transparently. Regular updates on the project's progress will be shared with all contributors.
By supporting Shanti Mandir, you're not just finishing a temple; you're creating a legacy of spirituality, community, and cultural preservation. Your generosity will touch the lives of countless individuals and families for generations to come.
Donate today and be a part of this historic journey. Together, we can complete a home for our faith, our culture, and our community. And remember, your generous gift is tax-deductible!
Thank you for your support and for spreading the word about our campaign. May peace and blessings be with you.
